Happy Sunday, Rotarians!

This week’s speaker is our very own Dennis Brovarone, who will speak to us about Cannabis in Colorado. In his capacity as an attorney, Dennis worked for 5 years with The Hoban Law Group, one of the original high profile cannabis law firms in Colorado. This will no doubt be an interesting and informative presentation, and all are encouraged to attend!

It’s Ice Melt time again!

Volunteers are needed to sell Ice Melt tickets at the INSPIRE events listed in the links below, which include the Halloween Spooktacular on 10/19/24, the Alternative Fair on 11/9/24 and 11/10/24, and the Holiday Walk on 12/6/24. Please click on the links and sign up to help sell tickets for what you all know is one of our most important club efforts.

Please continue to bring in the following items for packs for homeless veterans. We will be collecting these items until November 7th, so let’s do all we can to support and provide for those who’ve supported us through their military service. Remember to include a handwritten note in your donation. That human touch means so much, especially to someone who’s struggling. Through your kindness and generosity, you can be a bearer of light to a homeless veteran. (Stores like Walmart, Walgreens, and Target have a large assortment of travel-sized items. Outdoor stores like REI typically have hand and foot warmers.)

1 SMALL pack wet wipes
1 travel hand sanitizer
1 SMALL bar of soap
1 comb
1 razor and small shave cream
1 SMALL bottle of water
1 each hand and foot warmer (high need!)
1 lip balm
1 stick deodorant
1 toothpaste and brush pack
1 men's underwear (sm. or med.) (high need!)
NO FULL-SIZE products and NO SOCKS.
