Weekly Bulletin March 10

Our speaker this week is Lee Mulberry. Lee is a board member of RYLA. He will talk about the plans and changes RYLA has planned to regain the pre-pandemic excellence RYLA has always presented.

Lee is president of Northern Star Consulting, a firm that helps organizations improve performance, so he knows something about excellence. He is an entertaining and fascinating speaker.

Judi tells us that our 6 RYLA spots have been approved. Our support of this program will change young lives in a positive way.

On April 24th. there will be an Area 8 social at El Rancho. The cost will be $60 per person. You can RSVP by clicking below.  (Clubs included...ours, Conifer, Evergreen, Clear Creek and Peak to Peak)
There is some discussion of subsidizing the cost.

We are nearing the end of the ice melt project. If you have not made a contribution to the project, you still have time. Click on the sign up url below and sell some tickets. Please turn in all money and ticket stubs to Rose.

Each year we innovate and do a little better. This year we avoided the girl scouts and cold weather by expanding our bar/restaurant approach and by admitting that we need a helping hand. EChO, Resilience 1220, and EPRD have all stepped up by providing ticket sellers.

It has been a long road since we started selling tickets at the alternative gift fair in November. If you have been a part of the project, give yourself an atta boy.

You have helped supply programming for the special needs population, helped provide food and shelter for someone going through a tough time in their life, assisted in the fight against teen suicide, and help send crutches to Africans who need mobility.

Your efforts and our relationship with four great organizations has made a consequential difference. Well done, Mountain Foothills.

On March 27th. we will be having a special membership night.  Part of the time will be devoted to listening to our newest members tell us a bit about themselves.

The other part of the meeting will be to showcase our club to visitors who you invite. So, we need everyone to think about people you know who would have the heart of a Rotarian.  Please invite a guest for March 27.

See you Wednesday.
