Some of you asked that I keep everyone informed about members’ health concerns. I’ll try to do that given that I need to keep some details private according to the wishes of the involved member.

I am supposed to receive a portable oxygenator soon which will give me some portability
This from Evergreen Rotary:
The Annual Rotary Recycle Day is being held on Saturday, September 14th at Evergreen Country Day School from 8:30 am-2:00 pm. As in the past, Evergreen Rotary will have a booth set up for your “Crutches for Africa” project.
Evergreen Rotary would love to have your club members support with volunteers in the C4A booth or for any other volunteer assignments. Please send out the attached Sign Up Genius link to your club so your members will have an opportunity to volunteer. There are 2 shifts available: 8:30-11:30 am (and) 11:30 am-2:00 pm. They always need extra volunteers for the afternoon shift. Please contact Alan Rubin with any questions you may have.

New member Penny Randell is involved with Speakers for Africa, a conifer based 501c3. The group is sponsoring a fund raiser on August 31
st at Cactus Jacks. The event will feature music, food and a festive atmosphere. For more info click here:
