Our meeting this week will be presented by our own President Elect Keith Dragon. Keith will tell his story perhaps including how he caught this beauty.

 

Last Wed. before the meeting, we had a meeting with several Rotarians to strategize how we will address club growth. We made some progress. Several Rotarians agreed to help. One strategy is to call Chamber members inviting them to check us out. Why not add your name to the effort? We will meet again on Sept. 6^th. at 5PM.

 

 

Please plan to come to the Convergence on Sept. 30^th. It’s a one-day substitute for what we used to call district conference.  The entire day will focus on Rotary service projects. Clubs have asked for a forum to discuss the what’s and how’s of Rotary service projects. The goal is to encourage clubs to increase the quantity and quality of the work we do. You can sign up on the District website. Let’s send a good delegation. The cost is $50 and includes lunch.

 

 

Sept. 9^th is the Big Chille Cookoff. The organizers need some volunteers.  You can reach them at bigchili.org. The event is Sept. 9^th at Buchanan.
