I want to remind you that this wed we are dark as Saturday is the District Conference. We will go to the conference rather than meeting at Mount Vernon.

WhaT to expect at the conference:

Several hundred Rotarians from our 57 clubs will be there meet other Rotarians

There will be keynote speakers to help spread the Rotary spirit

Learn about what other clubs are doing

Broaden your Rotary knowledge
 
The conference will be just one day and the cost is just $$50 to cover meals. Hope to see you there
 
Last week’s membership night was a nice affair, but we only had one guest. It is up to us to enroll new prospects.  If you had guests who promised to come or indicated interest, ask them again. Every week is guest night.

 

The board meeting normally scheduled for this Wed. is rescheduled to Oct.2

I have one more week as your admin. Chair/bulletin editor/speaker-getter Yona Spillman will take over these duties and she will be terrific.
