Happy Father's Day

Happy Summer Solstice

Summer solstice traditions, often known as Midsummer or Litha, center on honoring the sun's peak power through light, nature, and community, with major celebrations including lighting bonfires, wearing flower crowns, and dancing around maypoles. Primarily celebrated on June 20-24, these rituals are meant to welcome summer, bring good luck, and promote fertility.

Golf Tournament

We are Twenty Two days out from the Andy Smith Sr Memorial Golf tournament.  Here is how you can help:

Find golfers!  We still have room for a few more! But Hurry it will sell out!

Be a hole sponsor ($350) or donate any amount.  Talk to friends and businesses and encourage them to donate.  Besides our flagship sponsor, we have 3 hole sponsors and 1 donor to date.

Buy a raffle ticket or five…each ticket is $20 and the winner receives half of the proceeds.  So, if all the tickets sell, the winner will get $5,000.  Tickets are available to purchase at both Buchanan Rec Center and Wulf Rec Center.
Purchase some gift cards to donate!  Tournament participants can win raffle prizes during lunch.  These are small gift cards to restaurants and other businesses.

** Distribute print media!  We have posters and pamphlets you can place at your church, local business, anywhere you can think of it that would put one on display.

This is a big job and takes all of us working ahead of time to be a success.
watch this space for more info on the fantastic Silent Auction

Be sure and sign up early and tell your golfing friends-
