We're an evening Rotary club, chartered in 2001 to serve the foothills community — and to make sure our members have fun doing it. Visitors are always welcome.

Our signature tradition

The whole town guesses when the barrel drops.

Every winter the Rotary barrel goes out on Evergreen Lake. Every spring it falls through. Tickets from $3, sold all over town — and every one of them supports local causes like Resilience1220.

Every July

We take over the greens for INSPIRE.

The Andy Smith Sr. INSPIRE Golf Tournament funds EPRD's program for people with special needs — more than 200 neighbors in the Evergreen area. Sponsor a hole, bring a foursome, or drive a cart.

Crutches 4 Africa

Mobility, delivered by hand.

Crutches, walkers and wheelchairs collected here in the foothills — over 125,000 devices shipped to people in 29 countries. Bring a device to any Wednesday meeting.

About Our Club
On October 31, 2001, the Mountain Foothills Rotary club was chartered.  It's chartering principles included serving the Evergreen community and making sure its members had fun doing so. 
 
We're an evening club meeting at Mount Vernon Canyon Club.  The members gather either at Mount Vernon or via ZOOM each week prior to our 6:00 PM meeting to enjoy each other's company in a social setting.  The club has always kept its dues low and made meals optional to insure the cost of belonging is not prohibitive.

Evergreen Ice Melt Contest

Our signature winter tradition: guess when the barrel drops through the ice on Evergreen Lake. Every ticket supports local causes, including Resilience1220's counseling for young people.
